Dr. Rami El-Bkaily is a licensed therapeutic optometrist with training in ocular disease, contact lenses, and primary care. He earned his doctoral degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, Michigan.
In optometry school his externship sites included Veterans Hospital in Detroit Michigan, which focused on ocular disease optometry while also providing in patient services, Optimeyes, a well-known primary care clinic, where he focused on specialty contact lenses, and Duane Waters Hospital which specialized heavily in ocular disease as well as low vision. After graduation he became licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist to treat and manage non surgical ocular disease. He is currently pursuing licensure to become a glaucoma specialist.
During his free time, he enjoys to read and cook. He currently resides in Fort Worth with his wife and two cats.
